Make a Tax Deductible Donation
Here's what The Nation's columnist Katha Pollitt says about FFRF: "If you have had it up to here with faith-based initiatives, creationism and clerical prying into our private lives, FFRF is the organization for you. This scrappy group brings lawsuits against church-state entanglements and puts up witty billboards and bus signs promoting, well, freedom from religion. Reason's Greetings!"
SENIORS MAY CONTRIBUTE VIA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER
FFRF receives Charity Navigator’s highest 4-star rating. Donations to FFRF are deductible for income-tax purposes to the fullest extent of the law. Seniors 70½ take note: Congress has extended the IRA charitable rollover through 2013, allowing you to transfer as much as $100,000 per year from your traditional IRA directly to our charity, and subtracting from taxable income. Congress through year's end has also approved transferring securities directly to satisfy mandatory distribution, as well as cash. If you have questions about how to make such a transfer, please phone Annie Laurie Gaylor, FFRF co-president, or Lisa Strand, FFRF director of operations, at 608/256-8900. Thank you!
