Celebrating Ken’s 85th!

imageThe Freedom From Religion Foundation’s outgoing longtime Treasurer, Ken Taubert, of Madison, Wis., celebrated his 85th birthday in June. Ken, a Foundation member almost since its inception, has been an active volunteer as well as a Board member and an officer for many years. Ken is well-known to FFRF convention-goers as the cheerful keeper of the annual drawing for “clean” (pre-“In God We Trust”) money. Ken is retiring as treasurer this year.

Pictured with cake at the Foundation’s Madison office is Ken (seated, center). On his left, seated, is Foundation co-president Dan Barker, who also has a June birthday.

Standing: longtime volunteer and Life Member Phyllis Rose; office assistant Jackie Nesbitt; longtime volunteer and Life Member Paul Gaylor; co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor, and president emerita/Life Member Anne Nicol Gaylor. Freethought Today assistant editor Lynn Lau snapped the photos.
