The Freedom from Religion Foundation is an educational association working to keep state and church separate, and to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism. Our many publications include:
Freethought Today
The only freethought newspaper in North America is a lively 20-page tabloid published 10 times a year (with combined issues in January/February and June/July). Edited by veteran newsman PJ Slinger, Freethought Today covers FFRF actions, timely news related to state/church separation and articles of interest to freethinkers.
Foundation-published books
These include several classic reprints, such as Rhymes for the Irreverent by Yip Harburg (the great American lyricist who wrote “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”), Foundation bestsellers Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist by Foundation Co-President Dan Barker and The Born Again Skeptic’s Guide to the Bible by Ruth Hurmence Green, as well as biography, a book for children, and books on women and freethought. The foundation has a catalog of books, and sells many others in the books section of our online shop.
