Barker Interviewed for Documentary

Los Angeles film and commercial director Simon Cole (seated at right) interviewed Foundation co-president Dan Barker as part of a documentary he is producing with the working title "God Willing," about his mid-life quest for "spiritual" meaning.

The interview took place at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 28. Also interviewed at Lake Hypatia in Alabama were Pat Cleveland and other members of the Alabama Freethought Association, a Foundation chapter.

Cole, whose brother Nigel is a British film producer (credits include "Calendar Girls"), did not reveal his quest's conclusion, but hinted to Dan that he is leaning heavily toward agnosticism.
