FFRF Staff Attorney Sam Grover will speak to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of La Crosse on Sunday, April 7 about "Civil Rights in the Age of Religious Refusal." Sam will discuss how modern cries for "religious freedom" in the United States are being made not in defense of religious thought, but as an attack on the civil rights of marginalized groups, especially the LGBTQ community. The service starts at 10am (nursery is open for childcare starting at 9:30 am), and will be held at 401 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601.
