‘We Dissent’ talks Trump’s executive orders

The latest episode of the “We Dissent” podcast zeroes in on the recent slew of presidential executive orders.

On Episode 40, Freedom From Religion Foundation Deputy Legal Director Liz Cavell and Americans United Legal Director Rebecca Markert talk with Americans United Associate Vice President of Public Policy Dena Sher about the spate of executive orders that President Trump has issued in his new presidential term. Sher explains what executive orders are, and the trio discuss the ones that affect religious liberty and the separation of state and church.

“We Dissent,” which first aired in May 2022, is a legal affairs show for atheists, agnostics and humanists, offering legal wisdom from the secular viewpoint of women lawyers. The show is a collaboration of the Freedom From Religion FoundationAmerican Atheists and Americans United.
