The third episode of the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s lively new TV talkshow, with guest Marie Schaub, is now available for viewing on YouTube.
Marie discusses her monumental victory last year removing a 2-ton monolith of the Ten Commandments from the lawn of her daughter’s high school in rural Pennsylvania. Marie received both FFRF’s Atheist in Foxhole Courage Award, and Freethinker of the Year Award, 2017, for serving as brave plaintiff in the controversial five-year litigation with FFRF. She discusses why she felt it was important to pursue the First Amendment violation, despite being the recipient of harassment and death threats as a named plaintiff in the case.
The show is hosted by FFRF Co-Presidents Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor. “Freethought Matters” first airs on Madison’s local WISC-TV 3, which is affiliated with CBS, Sundays at 11 p.m.
