Sign Up Now for March 24 Post-Reason Rally Dinner Gala!

Join the Freedom From Religion Foundation, a sponsor of the historic March 24 Reason Rally in Washington, D.C., and enjoy the exclusive appearance of pioneering atheist progressive and author Barbara Ehrenreich at FFRF’s post-Reason Rally Gala Saturday!

FFRF’s exclusive speaker will be Barbara Ehrenreich, atheist, feminist, former TIME columnist, prolific author and social critic. Dan Barker, FFRF Co-President, will also entertain at the piano. Check-in and a social hour begins at 6 PM with dinner at 7 PM., followed by Ms. Ehrenreich’s acceptance speech as recipient of FFRF’s Emperor Has No Clothes Award. Ehrenreich has been an outspoken atheist since the 1970s. Her nontheism is a family traditon (“the race of ‘none’ marches on"). Her books include Nickeled and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By In America, a celebrated expose. She will be autographing copies of her newest bestseller, Bright-Sided: How Positive Thinking is Undermining America (which includes a section on religion).

FFRF will have a sales and book table at the event.

MEET UP WITH FFRF ON THE MALL!

Early-birds wishing to walk over with FFRF staffers can meet up at 9:30 AM in the lobby of the Phoenix Park Hotel, 520 N Capitol St. NW, on Saturday, March 24. Music begins at 10 and the rally opens at 11 a.m. It’s a 2-mile walk. See map of area here

Look for FFRF staff and volunteers at its 20-foot booth inside the tent by the stage on the National Mall, with other sponsoring groups. Come find us, enjoy interactives, and participate in a raffle to win free money (all pre-In ‘God We Trust,’ with prizes of $100 to $1 bills for lucky winners). FFRF will give away colorful decals, placards and souvenir plastic bags while they last.

Note: National Park Service regulations do not allow the sale of T-shirts, etc., on the Mall. You may order a souvenir Reason Rally t-shirt, hoodie or hat directly from the Reason Rally website (to be sent or to prepay and pick up at the rally).
