The Freedom From Religion Foundation is honoring the Bill of Rights in the Granite State this holiday season.
For the second year in a row, FFRF members have set up a freethinking holiday display in New Hampshire’s capital. The exhibit, erected outside the Capitol building in Concord, is FFRF’s 6-foot-tall whimsical Bill of Rights “nativity.” The irreverent graphic by artist Jacob Fortin depicts Founding Fathers Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and the Statue of Liberty gazing in adoration at a “baby” Bill of Rights.

At this season of the Winter Solstice,
Join us in honoring the Bill of Rights, adopted on December 15, 1791, which reminds us that there can be no religious freedom without the freedom to dissent.
Keep religion and government separate!
“We are delighted to be reminding the good folks of New Hampshire this holiday season about the importance of our basic freedoms,” FFRF Co-President Dan Barker says. “Our members in the state should be commended for taking the initiative to set up the display.”
FFRF is a national nonprofit organization with more than 30,000 members across the country, including in New Hampshire. FFRF’s purposes are to protect the constitutional principle of separation between church and state, and to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism.
