FFRF calls on Apple to immediately remove prayer emojis from all iPhones

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) today called on Apple CEO Tim Cook to immediately remove all prayer emojis from iPhones and other devices, as the symbol constitutes cruel and unusual proselytizing.

“Now that we have successfully removed prayer from schools, we are moving to the next frontier: iPhones,” said FFRF Co-President Dan Barker. “Apple may not be afraid of the FBI, but they should be afraid of the millions of secular consumers who can’t stand these emojis.”

The Freedom From Religion Foundation, based in Madison, Wis., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational charity, is the nation’s largest association of freethinkers (atheists, agnostics), and has been working since 1978 to keep religion and government separate.

FFRF wishes everyone a happy April Fools’ Day.
