Atheist exposes Ark

The Freedom From Religion Foundation is releasing a covert video today exposing Ken Ham’s Ark Encounter in northern Kentucky and we want you to see it first!

FFRF Staff Attorney Andrew Seidel recently gained access to the taxpayer-funded park, revealing its efforts to lure public school students to creationism while discriminating against LGBT folks and non-Christians.

This Ark is really a Trojan horse, emblematic of the Religious Right’s efforts to push our kids into creationist schools.

Thousands of young students are already traveling to the $100 million Ark, which was completed last year using tens of millions in taxpayer funds, on land that the government gifted to Ham. Public school students are allowed in for $1, learning that the Earth is only 6,000 years old, dinosaurs once lived with humankind, and God’s flood killed all but those who made it on the Ark.

For the inside story on the making of this commercial, read FFRF Staff Attorney Andrew Seidel’s blog, “An atheist shoots a commercial at creationist Ken Ham’s Ark Encounter.”

FFRF is fighting to prevent these dangerous abuses of power, and keep religion out of public schools. FFRF has taken legal actions to block public schools and local governments from taking trips to this park. The park not only miseducates children, but also bans gays and non-Christians from employment.

Thank you, as always, for your support, which makes possible FFRF’s educational campaigns and legal actions.
