The Ozarks Chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation is engaging in a secular celebration at the state Capitol for the first time.
On Sunday, Dec. 17, Ozarks Chapter members traveled to the Arkansas Capitol in Little Rock to install the popular Bill of Rights “nativity” display on the South Lawn of the complex. Pictured are Chapter Members James Brazeal, Chris Sweeny and Juli Odum. Photo credit goes to Mag Planner.
The display features three Founders and Lady Liberty gazing at a “baby” Bill of Rights. Text next to the image reads:
At this season of the Winter Solstice
Join us in honoring the Bill of Rights, adopted on December 15, 1791, which reminds us there can be no religious freedom without the freedom to dissent.
Keep religion and government separate!

The Freedom From Religion Foundation is a national nonprofit organization with over 40,000 members and several chapters across the country, including hundreds of members and the Ozarks Chapter in Arkansas.
