Today is Election Day! Please vote NO on Arkansas Issue 3 to ensure that religious privileges do not outweigh public good.
During the 2022 legislative session, the Arkansas Legislature passed a resolution to propose an amendment to the state Constitution that would require medical professionals to render all aid necessary to keep a nonviable child alive. The resolution will appear as Issue 3 on the ballot this upcoming election, and would place the free exercise of religion ahead of well-reasoned government business.
Religious freedom is a cornerstone of our democracy. Constitutional amendments such as the proposed in Issue 3 make a mockery of such freedoms. Vote NO on Issue 3 so that the public good of Arkansans is not overshadowed by the perversion of religious preference.
