URGENT: Tell Alabama gov to veto abortion ban

The Alabama Senate just passed the most restrictive abortion bill since pre-Roe v. Wade. The bill, which amounts to a near total abortion ban with no exception for rape or incest, is now on the governor’s desk. We need you to speak out now.

The right to choose abortion is in more danger than ever. This bill, which would make performing abortion punishable by up to 99 years in prison, is part of the Religious Right’s plot to undermine abortion rights at the Supreme Court. Since Justice Brett Kavanaugh replaced pro-choice Justice Anthony Kennedy last year, anti-choice activists are inching closer and closer to achieving their goal of a post-Roe world.

With Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey expected to sign this bill soon, it is absolutely critical that you speak out in opposition to this harmful attack on abortion rights in Alabama. The governor’s office tallies the calls and contacts received in opposition and support of controversial issues, and it is essential that pro-choice Alabamians make your voice heard so Ivey cannot claim a mandate.
