SB 619 would allow public school teachers to teach “intelligent design,” a euphemism for religious creationism. Federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, have consistently held that creationism in public schools is unconstitutional religious instruction. With strong recent efforts to roll back the case law on the separation between state and church, West Virginians must show their vocal opposition to this bill!
