HB 1032, currently under consideration by the Colorado House, would, among other things, specifically “prohibit instruction from explicitly or implicitly teaching or endorsing religious ideology or sectarian tenets or doctrines.”
With the pattern of “crisis pregnancy centers” infiltrating public school sex education programs across the country and propagating religiously based, anti-health, abstinence-only myths, it is imperative that freethinkers support initiatives for comprehensive, secular sex education like this one.
