Brits: Nonbelievers outnumber believers. A poll by the Guardian/IMC in December reveals that nonbelievers outnumber believers by nearly two to one: 63% are not religious (including more than half of those describing themselves as Christian”!), compared with only 33% describing themselves as a “religious person.” Forty-three percent said they never attend religious services.

Other results: 82% see religion as a cause of division and tension between people (only 16% disagree). Only 17% of Brits describe the UK as Christian, while 62% agree Britain is “a religious country of many faiths.” ICM interviewed 1,006 adults between Dec. 12-13. In His Own Words

[God has told me that a terrorist attack on the United States will result in “mass killings” in 2007.] I’m not necessarily saying it’s going to be nuclear. The Lord didn’t say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that.
