In addition to the Member’s Forum, maintained by volunteer member Darrell Barker, members of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, as well as prospective members, may now meet in two new online homes: the “Facebooksphere” and the “Twitterverse.”
This is the latest phase of an effort to reach out to younger freethinkers, and to give isolated freethinkers more contact with other like-minded individuals.
On the Foundation Facebook page, freethinkers are able to interact with one another, share ideas, and spread information via the “Wall.” On both Twitter and Facebook, FFRF posts the most up-to-date information from Action Alerts, News and Press Releases.
If you are interested in information-sharing and activism, please investigate the Forum. For example, if you have been involved in a state/church separation dispute, you can post information about it (including copies of your letters of complaint), so that others encountering the same problem do not have to reinvent the wheel. You can use the Forum to arrange Meetups in your area. You can exchange tips on dealing with religious relatives, etc. This is an interactive site.
To get started with the Forum, visit the FFRF Forum website: ffrf-forum.org/ Use the icons at the ffrf.org homepage to access Facebook and Twitter or under the “Get Involved” heading.
