FFRF Talk Kicks off UCLA Student Group

Freedom From Religion Foundation co-president Dan Barker gave a talk on “Did Jesus Exist?” to the UCLA-Bruin Alliance of Skeptics and Secularists (BASS, bruinskeptics.org) on Feb. 22 in Royce Hall.

This inaugural event of the new campus organization, co-sponsored by the Secular Student Alliance (secularstudents.org), was well-attended by many students, community members, FFRF members (including Nobel Laureate Paul D. Boyer), as well as some members of the California State University-Long Beach Secular Students (LBSS). After the speech, the lively freethought discussion continued at a local pizza place until late in the evening.
