The 2026 convention logo is inspired by Milwaukee’s brewing history. With its large German population, Milwaukee had over two dozen breweries by the 1850s and had established itself as the capital of American brewing by the end of the century. It was once home to four of the world’s largest breweries: Pabst (1844), Schlitz (1849), Blatz (1851) and Miller (1855). As recently as 1981, Milwaukee had the largest brewing capacity in the world.
Labels and vintage advertisements from those classic Milwaukee breweries inspired multiple logo variations that feature a bold script typeface, styled after those that were popular in the late 19th century. This script font is complemented by an ornate seriffed typeface from the same era.
