Patrick Elliott joined the permanent staff of the Freedom From Religion Foundation as its second staff attorney in July, after working part-time since February. A native of St. Paul, Minn., he is a member of the Wisconsin Bar and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2009. His undergraduate degree, earned in 2005, was in legal studies and political science. Patrick, an atheist with a Catholic background, has already had several successes in ending violations of the constitutional principle of separation between church and state.
