On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court repealed Roe v. Wade, undoing a nearly 50 year precedent. However, it was a long process to get to this place. In Barbara’s presentation, she will discuss how abortion became illegal, efforts to further erode abortion, and the process toward legalization. Barbara is a PhD Candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a contributing writer to FFRF and the author of The Library’s Guide to Sexual and Reproductive Health Information.
