‘Secular Spotlight’ welcomes back Taylor ‘The Antibot’ Leigh for satanism discussion

The latest episode of FFRF’s YouTube series “Secular Spotlight” welcomes back Taylor “The Antibot” Leigh to discuss her nontheistic satanic lifestyle.

Leigh explains what led her to nontheistic satanism and the value of secular rituals. Drawing on her journey out of evangelical Christianity, Leigh discusses healing from religious trauma, finding community, reclaiming once-feared symbols — and learning to live authentically beyond the expectations of religion.

“A big misconception about Satanism, and this is primarily among Christians … is that Satanism inherently has to do with worshiping or believing in the devil, which most satanists do not believe exists,” Leigh explains. “Satan, for me, symbolizes freedom, intellectualism [and] living authentically.”
