FFRF Sunday TV show guest explains her disbelief in new book

Watch the teaser here.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation interviews for its TV show this Sunday a Washington Post contributor who has a new book explaining why she stopped pretending to believe.

Kate Cohen is a Washington Post contributing columnist who often writes on freethought topics and is an Emmy Award-winning writer who has authored several books. Her newest work, just out this fall, is called We of Little Faith: Why I Stop Pretending to Believe And Maybe You Should Too.

“God is a fascinating invention — a human creation,” Cohen tells “Freethought Matters” co-hosts Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor “And from that character a person can glean lessons or take comfort or all those things. But as a supernatural being who is listening to me or doing anything: No.”

If you don’t live in the quarter-plus viewership of the nation where the show broadcasts on Sunday, you can already catch the interview on FFRF’s YouTube channel. New shows go up every Thursday.
