Thank Rep. Huffman for standing up to Christian Nationalism

Rep. Jared Huffman, co-chair of the Congressional Freethought Caucus, is under fire for standing up to Christian Nationalists — and he needs to hear your words of support.

On FFRF’s national television show “Freethought Matters” that aired last weekend, Huffman pointed out that requiring witnesses to recite “so help me God” during oaths unnecessarily entangles government with religion. Watch Huffman’s other superb remarks on “Freethought Matters.”

The Religious Right has jumped on this interview to mobilize its base and vilify Huffman. The Washington Examiner and Fox News are using FFRF’s interview with Huffman as an opportunity to attack him for his support of secular government.

Can you take a few minutes to thank Huffman for standing up for our community and for all Americans who support the separation of church and state? We need to defend our champions in Congress.
