High school’s annual ‘field trip’ to Freethought Hall

Dan Halling’s high school World Religions class from Sauk Prairie High School, Wis., made its annual pilgrimage to Freethought Hall, the office of the Freedom From Religion Foundation in Madison, Wis. The visit was part of a Dec. 10 class field trip. Students enjoyed doughnuts, heard a short presentation and asked a lot of questions. They also visited a Jewish synagogue, a Buddhist center and the Wisconsin Capitol, which was hosting its annual December “interfaith week.” Among the displays at the Capitol: FFRF’s famous Winter Solstice sign (see page one). FFRF Co-President Annie Laurie Gaylor and teacher Dan Halling are pictured with students outside Freethought Hall. See photo at left.
