On the latest episode of the only all-women secular podcast in the United States, three powerhouse attorneys discuss the timely topic of court reform.
“We Dissent” hosts FFRF Legal Director Rebecca Markert, FFRF Attorney Liz Cavell and American Atheist Attorney Alison Gill will be speaking with Katie O’Connor, deputy chief counsel at Demand Justice, a national organization that works to restore balance to the federal courts. On episode 17 of “We Dissent,” O’Connor discusses with the hosts about how the Supreme Court and federal courts have been broken, why it’s an existential threat to our secular democracy — and how we can fix it.
“We Dissent,” which first aired in April 2022, is a legal affairs show for atheists, agnostics and humanists, offering legal wisdom from the secular viewpoint of women lawyers. The show is a collaboration of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and American Atheists.
