Recent events have struck yet another blow to the integrity of the U.S. Supreme Court, with the court’s ultraextremist majority revealed to be improperly meeting with litigants, praying and allegedly leaking details of their upcoming judgments.
This week, FFRF wrote a second letter to Chief Justice John Roberts asking for an official investigation. Justices are not bound by any ethical standards, unlike lower court judges, and the high court has been packed by Christian nationalists. Meanwhile, lower federal courts are massively overworked and have also been packed with ideologues.
