Triangle Freethought Chapter hosts Dawkins

The Triangle Freethought Society, FFRF’s chapter in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., co-hosted a Richard Dawkins meet and greet with the Duke University Secular Alliance on Oct. 2. “About 60 of us met Professor Dawkins and chatted with him about any and all things godless and evolutionary,” said Amy Glenn of Triangle. “He was even kind enough to sign some of our books.” The next day, Dawkins lectured on his new book, The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution, at Duke, where this photo was taken. Chapter member Tod Stiefel helped with arrangements. (Dawkins is pictured front row, center.)
