The Secular Student Alliance (SSA) was recently invited asked to participate alongside religious groups as part of President Barack Obama's InterFaith and Community Service Challenge by contacting the White House.
Religious organizations such as the Faith & Freedom Coalition are shamefully protesting the SSA's inclusion. FFRF has a partnership with the Secular Student Alliance which exists to support high school and campus secular groups. The Religious Right wishes to marginalize and discriminate against secular organizations, and it's our goal to tell them we won't allow it.
Contact the White House to thank them for including the SSA and other secular organizations in the InterFaith Initiative!

Polls such as the 2012 PEW survey show that one in three young people is nonreligious, which is 30% of Americans. Imagine shutting the door on a third of the nation's population because they aren't religious is bad manners and even worse government. Secular students should be represented in the White House.
