FFRF’s Message Goes to Seattle
That’s Mike Christensen, 28, a Foundation Lifetime Member, standing in front of the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s leased billboard in Seattle, Wash., on Denny Way, east of Stewart Street. The Foundation extends its warm thanks to Mike, who not only found the excellent location—in the Capitol Hill/Broadway area of Seattle—but underwrote the entire cost!
Mike says, “I chose a more liberal neighborhood because I wanted to target a more secular, freethinking audience.” That strategy worked, because the billboard prompted a number of positive contacts from passers-by. The billboard, which was leased for a month through part of July and August, also generated a lot of word-of-mouth, Internet coverage, and radio interviews. To hear Mike interviewed, listen to the July 26 Freethought Radio show at: ffrf.org/radio.
