Make a Tax Deductible Donation

"Keep our organization an active force for generations to come," writes one kind donor, who contributed his entire $600 stimulus rebate to FFRF recently.

Donations to the Freedom From Religion Foundation are gratefully received. Contributions may be designated for a specific purpose (such as Legal Fund, Billboard Campaign, bus signs, Intern Fund, advertising, student scholarships), or for general support.

All gifts and dues given to the Foundation are deductible for income tax purposes. FFRF has been designated a 501(c)(3) by the IRS since 1978.

Here is the listing in the 2008 National Charity List published by CFC:

32519 Freedom From Religion Foundation, Inc. (Freedom from Religion Inc) (608)256-8900 www.ffrf.org EIN#391302520 Help our national association of freethinkers (atheists and agnositcs), founded in 1978, to promote and defend the consitutional principle of separation between church and state. 7.3% R,B,Z

Members of the public have asked FFRF what the percentage rating refers to. It is the (very low) percentage of money FFRF spends on administration! (In other words, your donation goes to work for our laudable and vital two purposes!)

Matching grants. Matching grant donations have become a significant boost to FFRF in recent years. Members and donors who work with companies that match grants to charities and nonprofits often double their gifts, and what FFRF can accomplish with those contributions, by designating FFRF.
