FFRF Book Sale in the Mail!

More than 300 interesting used/duplicate freethought books are now on sale via the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s website.

Most books are lightly used, many are like-new–although some are definitely in the used book category.

With a few noted exceptions, most hardcover books are on sale for $10 and softcover for $5. Due to major increases by the Post Office and time-consuming handling, postage & handling charges will be $4 for the first book, $3 for each subsequent hardback, and $2 for each additional paperback.

The sale is both a fundraiser for the charitable Freedom From Religion Foundation and a way to share freethought books. (The few books not explicitly related to FFRF’s state/church and freethought purposes are identified as non-related.)

Many of the books were donated by the late Catherine Fahringer, a longtime officer and Foundation activist from San Antonio. Many volumes of her useful collection are now being cataloged for the office library. Books that were already cataloged in the Foundation’s library are being made available for purchase. The Foundation sends special thanks to Texas Foundation members Sally Chizek and Joe LaBonte for sorting and packing Catherine’s books.

Please enjoy browsing at the used book collection link, and please follow the directions you will find there when you place your order.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation, based in Madison, Wis., is a national association of freethinkers (atheists, agnostics) that has been working since 1978 to keep church and state separate.
